Meldrim Woods Plantation is perfect place to hunt in Southern Ga. It is 1500 acres located on a true Southern Plantation that was operational until the mid 1930’s.
Open to hunters only five years now, its the perfect place for family’s and friends to hunt together. Guest or limited and we offer private party hunts as well.
It has a restored hunting cabin and barn reflecting life as it was in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. It is surrounded by corn and peanut fields in some of South Georgia’s most rural farm belt.
Fall finds cotton in full bloom and corn in a husk of golden brown ready to be harvested. Peanuts will often be seen shining there brown shells ready to be picked.
Bathroom facilities and a hunter’s cabin and a ice machine provides all the necessities for your stay or Hotels are available for in nearby Statesboro or Savannah. Each location is approximately 25 to 30 minutes by car from Meldrim Woods Plantation.
